Leashes

Pick a leash the same length as your board or one foot shorter.  A few nose riding longboarders use longer leashes than their boards. Leashes & noseriding are not a marriage made in heaven. If you can't hold on to your board through all waves & without a leash (or if you are SUP), you should surf far away from other surfers for safety.
